The center is a public rental facility established as part of "Kobe Medical Industry Development Project" promoted by Kobe City. Taking advantage of being at a focal point of R&D functions for advanced medical technologies and so forth, it primarily focuses on facilitating the evaluation and improvement of cutting-edge medical devices and technologies, such as minimally invasive procedure and regenerative medicine using catheters, stents, laparoscope, etc. to promote the creation of new medical/healthcare related businesses. It also offers a space for product presentation where medical/healthcare companies can promote their new products and technologies. |

Being in a neutral position unaffiliated with any medical device companies and so forth, this open-to-all facility assures secure confidentiality. Operating costs are also much lower than self-built facilities, as it renders maintenance costs unnecessary. |
